On October 8, Tbilisi hosted Fusion Georgia 2026: Banking & Retail Solutions, a landmark event organized by BS/2. The forum brought together approximately 200 participants from 105 organizations, including representatives from 41 banks and 56 retail companies across Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Lithuania.

As the first Fusion forum held in Georgia and the sixth organized by BS/2, the event united the banking and retail industries under a single program for the first time. It provided a dynamic platform for exchanging international expertise, exploring cutting-edge technological innovations, and building new business connections.

The forum opened with a welcome address by Darius Vitkauskas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia, who emphasized the crucial role of international business cooperation. The banking program featured industry leaders and representatives from TBC Bank, Liberty Bank, Basis Bank, Mastercard, Diebold Nixdorf, JSC “Octobank,” and BS/2. Discussions centered on AI-powered decision-making, predictive analytics, intelligent cash management, ATM network optimization, and integrated payment infrastructure—highlighting how modern technology drives operational efficiency and generates measurable business value.

Lado Kandelaki, Chairman and Co-Founder of the eCommerce Association of Georgia (eCAG), participated in the panel discussion “Expanding Hardware Capabilities Through Analytics.” He demonstrated how analytics, AI, and integrated technologies empower retailers to optimize operational efficiency, adapt to evolving consumer behaviors, and enhance overall customer experience. He stressed that data integration and consumer trust are essential to unlocking the full potential of e-commerce and boosting the competitiveness of Georgian retailers.

Another key highlight was the presentation by Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairman of the Board of Penki Kontinentai Group and CEO of BS/2, alongside Bekzat Bukhatov. Their presentation, “AI Stack Inside: The Evolution of BS/2 Solutions — From Data and Reporting to Foresight, Decisions and Action,” outlined BS/2’s vision for AI-driven technologies, showcasing their evolution from traditional reporting into predictive insights and actionable business solutions.

The forum also featured the panel discussion “Data-Driven Bank: How Data and AI Are Transforming Banking,”moderated by Andrew Volkov, which examined the practical applications of AI and analytics in financial institutions.

Beyond the main sessions, interactive demonstration zones allowed participants to explore banking and retail technologies firsthand, engage directly with solution experts, and address real-world business challenges.

Fusion Georgia 2026 reinforced the vital importance of collaboration between technology providers, financial institutions, and retailers, creating new opportunities to exchange knowledge and turn technological innovation into tangible commercial value.
