On April 8, the Doing Digital Forum 2026 (DDF) was held in Yerevan, bringing together leaders of the digital economy. The eCommerce Association - Georgia was represented at the event alongside its members. Since its inception in 2023, DDF has evolved into one of Armenia's largest international platforms, focusing on the digital economy, fintech, and platform transformation. This year’s forum attracted over a thousand participants, including government officials, central bank representatives, CEOs of leading banks, fintech founders, and major technology providers.
The forum has a history of hosting world-class speakers and organizations such as Amazon, Visa, and Deloitte, and this year was no exception. At DDF2026, experts from Amazon Web Services, Visa, and Ant International (Alipay/Alibaba) discussed AI transformation and the future of payment systems. The panel discussions on regional regulations and innovations were particularly significant, featuring representatives from the National Bank of Georgia and Lado Kandelaki, Chairman and Co-Founder of the eCommerce Association - Georgia.
Under the theme “Bridging Platforms & Economies,” the forum explored how digital marketplaces, AI, and modern financial infrastructure are transforming regional commerce and driving cross-border growth. For members of the eCommerce Association- Georgia the event provided a unique opportunity to establish new partnerships and exchange global expertise.
The platform proved invaluable for companies in e-commerce, fintech, retail, and digital services, allowing them to connect with key decision-makers and financial institutions in a single space. As the regional digital economy continues to evolve, participating in such forums remains a crucial step toward fostering international dialogue and seizing new strategic opportunities.
