On February 5, 2026, the Art House cafe "Publica" in Tbilisi hosted the eCommerce Networking Event, organized by the eCommerce Association Georgia (ECAG). This meeting once again confirmed that the unity of the association's member companies creates real value, establishes solid business connections, and provides businesses with practical knowledge.
The event was attended by up to 70 representatives of ECAG member companies. The meeting was characterized by an open, professional, and friendly atmosphere. The evening was moderated by Lado Kandelaki, Chairman of eCommerce Association Georgia, who introduced the agenda to the guests and emphasized the crucial role of such meetings for the development of the Georgian e-commerce ecosystem.
The official part opened with a welcome speech from the Chairman, followed by a presentation from Mariam Chakhvashvili, a representative of the event's sponsor, the investment bank Galt & Taggart. She spoke about the company's vision, their role in the market, and current e-commerce trends in Georgia. This was followed by the first presentation, dedicated to the e-commerce market research prepared by Galt & Taggart.
The presentation block proved to be particularly intensive and interesting. Participants gained both strategic insights and practical experience from various sectors:
Galt & Taggart (Mariam Chakhvashvili) – The state of e-commerce and development perspectives in Georgia.
Glovo (Kato Petriashvili) – User Experience (UX) and its impact on eCommerce growth.
Quissly (Tazo Lezhava) – How tech giants are changing online shopping and what this means for individual stores.
Dressup (Teo Zarnadze) – Brand development and practical experience in online sales management.
Elit (Gvanca Begashvili) – Transformation for growth: The path from an online store to an ecosystem.
Abovedigital (Elene Imnadze) – Artificial Intelligence (AI) in commerce: Fromdoubts to real solutions.
The event concluded with informal networking, where guests continued sharing ideas and establishing new contacts in a cozy environment.
This day is a clear example of why membership in the eCommerce Association Georgia is important. The association creates a space where businesses do not face challenges alone and where knowledge, experience, and professional connections truly work.
