On March 12-13, the second International Logistics Exhibition and Conference was held in Tbilisi, which has become one of the most important business platforms in the field in Georgia. The event was held in Pavilion 11 of Expo Georgia and was attended by representatives of many local and international companies over two days.
The exhibition brought together logistics companies, representatives of the port, rail and air transportation sectors, warehouse and terminal operators, as well as financial and investment institutions. The event was especially interesting for companies that operate in import, export, transportation or warehousing or plan to develop in this direction in the future.
Visitors had the opportunity to meet up to 50 logistics companies in one space, get acquainted with various transport routes and find new partners to develop their business. The event was attended by industry professionals, business representatives and participants in the international logistics sector. The exhibition was also attended by representatives of the "eCommerce Association - Georgia", for which such platforms are important in the context of developing the eCommerce ecosystem and improving the logistics infrastructure.
A two-day conference was held in parallel with the event, where industry experts and company representatives discussed the main challenges and development prospects of the logistics sector. The conference paid special attention to the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor; Opportunities and challenges for developing the Zangezur route; Current challenges in Georgia's logistics sector; Prospects for attracting investments; Development of digital logistics.
The event once again demonstrated that such international business platforms play an important role in the sector's development, both in establishing new partnerships and better showcasing regional transport capabilities.
