The technological company "Wolt" was founded in 2014 in Helsinki, Finland. In its fifth year, on May 11, 2018, it began operations in Georgia. Initially, Wolt operated only in Tbilisi and offered customers the service of ordering dishes from restaurants. The convenient application, the simplicity and transparency of placing an order, the fast delivery service, the well-organized support service, and continuous development were the factors that earned Wolt the trust of customers and made it a beloved brand.
Following the successful launch in Tbilisi, Wolt expanded to Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Kobuleti, Gori, and Poti. In the second year of its operation, Wolt expanded its services to offer customers the ability to order products not only from restaurants but also from supermarkets, pharmacies, bookstores, florists, electronics stores, and many other shops.
In 2022, DoorDash Inc. acquired Wolt Enterprise Oy based on an agreement. With the merger of DoorDash and Wolt, they were able to enhance their products, focus on each company's market, and improve conditions for customers, merchants, and couriers.

This is why Wolt's standard service was complemented with Wolt Drive — Wolt's new service for online businesses that offers fast delivery service for merchants.

Wolt Ads has two service lines: Wolt Ads for partner merchants and Wolt Ads for brands. The first is focused on serving more than 140,000 of Wolt's trading partners in its markets, 86% of whom are small independent businesses. The latter is designed for Wolt's major international partner brands.
Wolt's advertisements for partner merchants are designed to increase the visibility of local merchants in the app. Partners have full control over their advertisements through Wolt's self-service tools and only pay for the ads that generate orders, not for clicks or views.
Wolt ads for brands: specifically designed for international brands, Wolt offers increased visibility both in-app and offline. Options offered for brands include banners, sponsored listings, as well as packaging and branded bags.
Membership in the e-commerce association gives us the opportunity to be in the center of events and receive/share information about current news and challenges in the field.
